Fall 2007 Update
It is only eight months since Chicken Soup for the Breast Cancer Survivor’s Soul was published and the response has been enormous. During October 2006, the book (and Mary Olsen Kelly as co-author) was featured on over 75 radio programs, 10 TV shows, both local and national, and in countless newspapers, websites, and pod-casts.

Story contributors were heralded in their local newspapers, many appeared as key-note speakers during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The book received excellent reviews from Publishers Weekly, the primary trade newsletter for the publishing industry, and the National Library Association also gave it high praise. It is rare for a Chicken Soup book to receive excellent literary reviews like this, so we are all grateful for the honor and the acknowledgement.

Orange County California boasts the highest number of story contributors – Seven! Five of the story contributors banded together to promote the book as a group. They each worked to get local newspaper coverage, and they presented several talks and group book signing events in Orange County during October of 2006.
